The Nov. 21 fight between Miguel Cotto and Canelo Alvarez will have veteran referee Robert Byrd as the third man in the ring.

Mayweather-Cotto was not 117-111; it was a very competitive fight. I hope this Cotto-Canelo fight doesn't have a controversial decision. That would be such a letdown. Goldenboy does want a rematch, but, if Cotto thought he truly won, I doubt he would give them one, no matter what. All the judges in the world won't change what occurs in the ring that night. All that would happen is another huge black eye for the sport.
