[truth] people have to remember that pacs last fight is not just about him only...

its about top ranks future as well, and bob arum knows this more then anyone,,

it baffles me for anyone to think mattshhsye or khan were even in the "running" to begin with, when the real choice has been right in front of our faces for quite some time. why would bob arum allow outside fighters possibly being handed the "torch" from pac when he could keep things in-house??lets be honesty here, any youngster who beats PAC or Floyd(though retired) gets handed down the torch. theres no question about that, now ask yourself...why on earch would bob arum possibly allow khan,a outsider/Al haymon managed fighter to possibly take the torch from pac???same goes for matthsyye who is golden boy managed, not a chance!!!

    the answer; terrance bud crawford

hes of the appropriate weight class, hes an in-house top rank fighter, hes slick yet still dangerous and heavy handed, and hes coming off a nice KO victory where he looked menacing and wanted to punish the guy,,and of course, hes very young and talented

and theres virtually no chance he beats pac and then runs off to al haymon because in order to even get the pac fight in the first place,we all kno damn well hes gonna have to sign a multi fight contract with top rank, just like bradley and everyone else had to do.

its a win-win situation for top rank to keep things running in house, win win for BUD if he wins(he is now a legit P4P top 1-5) and a PPV draw, and if Pac wins its a great win for him because of BUDs stature..hes undefeated and slick, just like floyd in some ways so the casuals and fantaitics will look at is as "redempotion" from the beating he took from TBE.

    what do you think???

and another thing to add,if BUD does win he doesnt really have to worry about the murderer's row at WW or even 140 for that matter because top rank doesnt have much talent at either weight class,at leasty not when it comes to crrawford.

look at top ranks WWs, bradley, rios and maybe a few others, crawford easily beats them all.

and supposedly khan has a special contract with haymon allowing him to take on outside fights as well(fights not related to haymon) so hes an option for BUD in the future as well,,

I think you have a point. That said, I don't see Crawford beating Pacquiao and even if he does, I don't see him becoming a big star. Maybe he can carry the TR torch but the roster is sort of barren and there's only so much he can do.

Plus, Crawford needs to use his sizable leverage. Where else is Arum going to go with Pacquiao? If he's smart, he holds off on signing any long term deal with TR before the Pacquiao fight. Sounds like Bradley is already kind of regretting he did it so TC would be wise to take note.

pac will fight 2-3 more times so your point is moot.

I wouldn't mind seeing Crawford taking the torch. Not only is he an excellent fighter, he does so in entertaining fashion. He's skilled and patient yet has a killer instinct.

It'll be interesting to see how Arum markets and matches him from now on. If not Khan I would like to see Pac in a farewell bout against Crawford.

Too bad there's bad blood between TR/HBO/Haymon. I would love to see crawford against the likes of Danny Garcia or Broner.

Yeah so TC has to use his leveraqe here. We'll see.

And it wouldn't surprise me if Pacquiao continues fighting. What if he loses his in his bid for Senate? The flip side is that his star power, PPV-wise, would have dimmed greatly upon his return and there are very few fighters, if any, that he can make box-office noise against.

                  bradley kinda regretting?

arum got him 2 pac paydays.

not to mention good paydays fighting chaves, vargas, rios types.

he's been well paid and kept active especially considering his lack of fanbase.

i know you guys hate arum and top rank.

but arum takes care of a lot of his fighters.

you see a lot of his old, retired boxers at top rank events.

I read a Bradley interview where he was talking about wishing to fight the boxers on the other side and his regret.

Yeah, he got paydays. Less than what he was supposed to get and his options are dimming by the day. This is about the future, not the present.

When I analyze the Top Rank situation, I don't think with emotion. "I know you guys hate..." Just stop. This morning, come intellectually. I think the emotional ones are probably those who tie their nationalistic pride to their fistic one.
