Khan is doing what he needs to do. He knows he cant compete at the top level anymore. He just trying to land one megafight and he will be happy but his ego gets in the way everytime.

Khan has become somewhat of a running joke. But even in his joke state, he has a point about Brook. Because the most hilarious thing is that, since coming on to the world stage, Khan is probably on his poorest run of opponents - yet even THAT is better than what Brook's done his entire career (Porter win aside).

Brook should insist Khan faces Porter before getting a crack at the title. That's fair on the other WW's who have earned their place in the rankings, and also shows Khan a well deserved level of disrespect. Obviously, Porter is quite limited in terms of technique and has already been schooled by Brook, but he's a ****er and Khan avoids youthful fighters with heavy hands.
