Brooks had ample time to increase his stock after his win over Porter, but sadly he has regressed.

If Brook pulled his weight this fight could have been 20 times bigger.

But fighting Fanny Gavin, ******* Dan and Chaves isnt exactly going to help ur brand.

Brook needs to pull his weight,

Khan did his job early on in his career, i don't see Khan wanting to be a potential stepping stone for Brook

No, Khan-Algieri was close. I had it a draw. It literally could have gone either way. Algieri wobbled Khan several times and landed the better punches throughout the fight. Khan landed pitty pat speed flurries that were pretty ineffective for the most part but won him rounds based on "activity". He looked terrible in all honesty.

Brook pretty much completely outboxed Porter and made him look amateurish. Landed the only clean punches in the fight and nullified Porter's wild, sloppy attempts at offence. It was a clear victory for Brook.

Shawn Porter was coming off winning the welterweight world title against Alexander and brutally KOing Malignaggi, full of confidence and unbeaten. Brook was a big underdog in the fight.

Chris Algieri was a junior welterweight who'd just come off one of the most embarrassingly one sided decision losses in the history of boxing. Khan was a heavy favourite in the fight.

Fights were nothing alike. Khantards are really grasping for anything right now.

            Delusions of Grandeur....

"Sigh," I don't know. Every time I think Khan has exhausted his ready supply of idiotic phrases, ideas, and possibilities he manages to render me speechless yet again. I'd say the guy was a nutter but I think it's a little deeper than that. I think this guy is channeling Napoleon or some short guy that really thinks a lot of himself. Brook needs to prove himself? What else could explain his boundless desire to look ridiculous but Napoleon? The obvious difference between the two is that he isn't Napoleon, and usually everyone that claims to be him or behaves as he did, but him is more than likely having mental health issues.

Someone on Khan's team needs sit him down (preferably with a family member) and slowly break it to him that's he's a bum. And when he makes statements in the media that are clearly ludicrous it turns people off.

Yeah Algieri did provide a stern test for Khan.

Khan vs Algieri could have gone either way. Brook was clearly the winner, Porter hardly landed a clean shot all night. The difference was Porter was the home fighter, and despite being in his oppositions home town, Khan was the PBC name for that fight.

Well, the win is very relevant? It's a better win than any Khan has on his entire resume. Porter is a top 5 welterweight, it's embarrassing that you'd try and dismiss it and it was just over a year ago.

Now, Khanturds go on about Khan's resume and refer to 2009, 2010 and 2011 Talk about grasping at straws.

I saw both as 8-4 fights IIRC. I didn't think Khan-Algieri was close, but Algieri gave Khan wayy more problems than was anticipated. Porter was the favorite over Brook, but Brook boxed beautifully and earned that title.

This guy doesn't know when to shut up. he makes himself look more and more foolish by the day.

and the thing is, I would've loved to see May v. Khan bc I truly believed it was a tough stylistic matchup for Floyd. And I'd love to se Pac v. Khan. But, Khan talks as if he fights killers. at 140, he fought everyone except Bradley, and that was only bc Bradley wouldn't accept. But since, he hasn't fought any top 5 contenders at 147. No Porter, Thurman, rematch with Garcia, etc. Yet, Brook, who recently beat Porter, which is better than anything Khan has done in about 5 years, still has to prove himself? Hilarious!
Yeah, I'm not impressed at all with his welterweight opponents. There's way too many good matchups at welter for him to be fighting the level of opposition he's been fighting.
