This really happened? What a joke.

I stopped reading The Ring not long after Golden Boy took over and cleaned house. Just wasn't the same anymore. Maybe it's gotten better recently, but this isn't a good indication of that.

I just buy them from time to time after I discontinued my subscription.

Between all the b*tching, rants and moaning Oscar has done against Mayweather I'm not surprised. After all he is the owner of ring magazine. I used to order it then I cancelled my subscription it's gone down hill.

I think Ring is a trader. The MMA people are always trashing boxing. There are so many great boxers to put on the cover and instead they put an MMA fighter on the cover. *** Ring. You will never see a boxer on the cover of any MMA magazine. I have nothing against Rousey but she already gets tremendous publicity from many sources. I think Ring put her on the cover to sell more magazines to non boxing fans but that's a sell out for a famous boxing magazine to do. Shame on Oscar. Nat Fletcher who started Ring would never have put a non boxer on the cover.
