Andre Ward has the most complete skillset in the sport of boxing right now since Floyd Mayweather retired.
ward to me is the best IN-fighter in the sport but there are thangs that Rigo can do that i havent seen Ward do especially the types of pivot angles he gives i haven't seen that in any fighter

i love wards game bc im more a fan of the boxer than the puncher ward has the best "jab" in the game ESP his "power jab" he used so effectively against edwin rodriguez but Rigo is also effective with his foot placement and the type of punch selection and the punch placement is key when looking at rigo
    i'd say rigo
    ward
    loma
    Andrade

So he stopped all those guys and didn't get dropped by any of them.

      Thanks for proving my point.

And anyway, i'm not sold on Gonzalez as p4p number 1 either, but his skillset and career is a hell of a lot more convincing than Rigondeaux.
competition that was my point he fought somebody who lost damn near 30 fights his level of opposition leaves MUCH to be desired
if he & rigo fought rigo would take his best weapon from him and school that youngin

if i think in good hopes, all i can think is that haymon doesnt want the wbo titles so they told him to just drop it and he's on the november card on espn with lara in Miami....

but then again i've had my hopes high for this man time and time again..only for no news to unfold..i'm beginning to think Rigo is not a fighter at heart, but a product of being forced into the ring, but now that he's in the states he's content with life here....i try to tell myself this is not right, bc he only wants to fight the best, but then i say he's only content with high level...he's like the undertaker of boxing..he only wants to do WrestleMania..but he has to learn to be content with some regular raw show to do that...and he is not, but i might be right...cuba is a forceful place this is not...he's boxed his entire life ya know..the us might be the break he's looking for..

Poor Rigo cannot catch a break. I don't see how he can even make a living with the pathetic job Caribe has done with his career.

But as i said, people are choosing to ignore these things. I'm not sure why people are blind to it. The proof is all there on video from his pro fights.

There are many better fighters than him in the sport right now.
he's got dropped by ppl who came inthe ring as 140lbers lol and u're saying his chin is bad...and he got up to continue and stop one of them...and thats after being jet lagged fighting in asia...

his defense is not leaky at all,,whitaker was dropped was his defense leaky? floyd was dorpped by judah..was his leaky? u get hit in the sport..its just that simple..but 95% of the time opponent swing and miss on this guy..
u're hoping that u see something you are not..if anything he doesnt like to fight on the inside, but the truth be told when he got in close quaters with donaire he backed donaire off an made him haul arse around the ring with his eye in his mit..

if u hit him u get hit back instantly...some of these things cant be judge by skill..boxing is mental and mean...and he's winning that battle all the time..which makes his skill look better than the next man

tru, but it's f'd up bro...im tired of them not accepting the fact that their mandatory didnt even want to fight for their title...that proves that you have the right man repping your belt..

Guess this answers the question about what happens when a champion fights 3 nobodies in 30 months.

                  Rigo needs a new team.

I suspect that Haymon doesn't even consider to pick the likes of Rigo or Ward.

yaegashi and viloria are better than anyone on rigondeaux's record bar donaire

& fyi rigo fights three divisions above gonzalez (and gonzalez is in his 3rd already, while rigondeaux is still in his first), so obviously rigo would beat him
