The winner of the cotto/Saul fight to fight the winner of the rios/tb fight isn't a bad idea??? Heck Bradley has been talking about 154 for over a year now and mentioned many times his match against ward... I would buy that fight! Cotto/Bradley would be an awesome fight to watch. Cotto won't beat Saul IMO. I just hope it's a great fight worthy of a rematch. I LOVE watching. PR/Mexico fighters scrap! They bring out that extra special WOW factor

Bradley cant crack an egg at 147. He'd be completely outgunned and underpowered at 154.

But this goes back to what I've thought all along... The opposition beneath Canelo in weight are starting to dry up here. None of this looks like must-see boxing. If it's Rios then Canelo fans will watch just to kick back and see a KO. I guess that's okay?

I really wouldn't care if I saw either of these potential fights live or not.
I do not want to see Canelo fight neither Rios, nor Bradley unless either fighter had a chance to acclimate to 154 by having a few tough fights there. And the fight would have to be at 154 precisely. Not 155, not 154.5....154!

But, not interested in these fights.

          On the shortlist it's:
          - Pacquiao at a CW
          - Golovkin at full 160
          - Lemeuirx at full 160
          - Charlos
          - Lara rematch

(Nowhere do I want to see Bradley or Rios in the ring with Canelo in the foreseeable, and quite distant future.) Maybe 3 years down the road?

Good point. I believe that they would try to send Johnson in vs ggg tto buy a little bit of time before sending canelo in there.

Damn. I just said Canelo can do what he wanna do in another thread, but Rios shouldn't even be on Canelo's radar ffs. Granted I don't think Rios beats Bradley first & foremost & I don't they could reach an acceptable weight even if he did, but Canelo shouldn't even be thinking about fighting Rios' lil ass.

I guess Rios is like f#ck this **** I'm cashing out of boxing I'll fight anyone. Rios gonna be fighting Wilder in January if Canelo passes I bet.

Typical of Alvarez vs a guy 2 weights below him but won't happen after Rios losses vs Tim...

LMAO! People are acting like this is Canelo's doing, this is Cameron Dunkin trying to get his fighter the most money per fight he can. Of course Canelo is on the table and hell Rios would be dumb as shhh to not consider taking that payday. Rios himself has stated after the Pacquaio fight he's wanted money fights, it's not about wins its about money. Also Rios is a pretty big boy who drops a lot of weight to make 147, if he's going to get his @ss whipped at 154 might as well be for the most money he can get.

Apparently NSAC are looking at blocking this talked about canelo-Rios matchup.....almost the same as wards behaviour.. Lol....it's shameful behaviour from the ginger if he was to face Rios .....go's to prove two things ...one is there are not so many credible opponents at light middleweight if there saying Rios .not to mention it has no PPV pulling power...and secondly canelo was right when he said he don't care what the critics say and if he was to get this fight...public ridicule
