I agree with the rules becoming closer to pro, no headgear for elite seniors and 10pt must instead of point scoring, as it makes the transition to pros easier, and I'm not opposed to amateurs making a living either, if they're only competing in amateur matches, including wsb. but licenced pro's have no place in Olympic boxing. it's different to other sports, it's individual 1 on 1 competition rather than a team sport, so advantage such as age and experience play a much bigger role in the outcome.
why would anyone then bother doing the very accessible amateur sport of boxing if you know there's no chance of ever being selected for your national team because it's full of obviously better pros
