Let's do one for 172 too, likely more champions there historically.

Correct...Cotto holds the 159 and 157 titles. Both of which he won from Martinez. Martinez won the 157 from Williams years ago...lineage .......

            Cotto
            JCC
            Pea

So just the Regular WBA Super Super Welterweight champ then? Who would be the Super WBA Super Super Welterweight champ?

wait ggg asks for a CW and ward says no then ward is ducking, but if canelo does the same to GGG then canelo is the one ducking???

Technically, if you look at it from a more scientific perspective, true lineage has never been established in the mythical 155 pound division. And let's be fair, Canelo has never lost at the weight -- which he established in the first place. Creating your own weight automatically gives you first dibs at the crown. Therefore, if Cotto somehow beats Canelo, he would still lose the title even if it's a 160 strap. Only Canelo can hold a title at the weight. Even when Canelo retires, he will have P4P 155 Champion Emeritus status.

You guys can make fun of Canelo's strange made up weight. Really, WTF is 155 about?

But you can't make fun of his CV. He had no business fighting Trout, Lara, and Floyd. None. He could have avoided them and fought them. It was not about business with trout or lara. Just wanted to.

                      cotto too, great, great CV.

Both moved up/down to seek fights, eventually settling at strange weights. It's the same thing that GGG is doing, moving up/down to seek fights. Oh wait.
