It seems as soon as anybody starts making money, the fat men with cigars decide to protect their assets. I get more out of the prelims in a lot of the shows. I root for underdogs and road warriors, but even then things happen. Just the same it's better than the house wives, or the news.

There has been plenty of memorable and big name fights this year. And there are a few more before the year is out.

      Every fight hasn't been Quillin-stripper.

quillenjacobs is a competitive good named fight and the undercard is a bit loaded
That is a good card. But PBC (I believe, I am sure there are dudes reading this who know more than me) should have at least one more NBC show, one more Spike show, and one more ESPN show to announce before the end of the year. These are supposed to be their bigger cards. If this fight is off, and it's not one of these guys fighting somebody else, I am a little scared to think of what they're going to get on short notice. We'll see I guess....

I know that but this year is still nothing compared to years past when fights on HBO and SHO use to mean something!

And please name me more than 5 memorable fights that took place this year on either hbo,SHO or a PBC network. I bet you can't name many more than 5.

Hopefully Khan-Garcia is still coming this year. If not looks like DeGale-Bute and Jacobs-Quillin will close out the year. Maybe Trout-Williams?

Memorable fights as in name fighters vs each other (May-Pac) or a good fight action (Fonfara-Cleverly?)

I hear ya, it's part of the reason I started really following the flyweight divisions. Not as much politics because there isn't a lot of money there to screw it up, and usually get great fights.

yes and this year they have made much more money..that is my point..
it's hit or miss this time a year..im surprised quillen who doesnt take boxing serious at all is willing to fight around this time...u see canelo and cotto getting theirs in before the holidays in the states...and neither lives here, but it could effect them with sparring partners if they are training here in the states
