Erislandy Lara vs James Kirkland

A few years ago I think it would have been a good match-up, but I have no reason to believe James can be competitive with anyone good these days.

Lara and Canelo are on about the same level. That level is many levels above Kirkland. Lara beats Kirkland just as easily as Canelo did. Lara is not as aggressive as Canelo and he doesn't hit as hard as Canelo so it might take him longer to KO Kirkland. Lara would win every round easily and either KO Kirkland or win a lopsided UD.

Lara wins easy, he won't trade. Kirkland is my boy, but I have no desire to see this match. Kirkland has a couple fights left, I would rather see a slugfest than Lara win a easy fight (boring maybe).
