Spence is faster and a bit bigger than Gomez. Haven't seen too much of Gomez but Spence's southpaw style and quicker hands will give him trouble alone.

Gomez should test his luck with southpaw Sammy Vazquez first. Vazquez lost to Spence in the Olympic trials.

I love Gomez, but he just doesn't take the sport serious enough to depend on him beating top talent.

But he has beaten better comp than spence, and people need to calm down with this soence stuff until he even steps in the ring with a top 25 opponent.

Amir Imam's last 5-6 opponents all rated higher than anyone spence has fought.

Fight will never happen anytime soon especially since Gomez is struggling with his weight right now. Spence Jr is the better and more well rounded fighter right now. I still think Gomez can be a special fighter if he ever commit to boxing 100% and get that weight under control

He looked Flappy to me on Friday like he did not even work out for that fight.
