Contrary to Khan fans beliefs, Amir is not the superstar he seems to think he is... Especially in the United States. This is a man who has a KO loss to Swift, a decision loss to Peterson, and another KO loss to Prescott. His best win is over Maidana, whom he barely sc****d by, and a washed up Judah... If you look at it, there is no real incentive for the likes of Mayweather or Pacquiao to face this guy. There is nothing to GAIN for them by destroying Amir Khan. It would not add to their legacies.

Khan is not a ppv attraction. His fighting style is only exciting because of the risk he'll get knocked out. He has no wins over any pound 4 pound fighters, nor any wins over any true top quality fighters who are at the peak of their powers.

I would never defend Mayweather or Pacquiao and I hope to never see them fight again. But what good reason is there for them to step into the ring with this chinless loud mouth?

Mhm that's totally how it works in boxing, you keep your mouth shut and wait for the big fights to come to you.

I wish winning fights against quality opposition is how you get big fights but if you believe that you're f***ing delusional.

I like that Khan wants to test himself and is chasing the big fights even if he is a bit of a tard. But, if Pacquiao chooses Crawford for his fairwell fight (great fight imo) then surely Khan has to fight Brook, which is another excellent fight.

Khan isn't the master boxer he claims to be.

            -------------------------------------------------------------------------

You are probably Pakistani to believe such horse poop! You root for your fellow country brethren to the point of worshiping him. You do know that idolatry is HARAAM in Islam, don't you?

Khan is not an icon for anyone in the Middle East. Middle Easterns HATE Pakistanis and Indians in general. It is just their culture. Anyone who is Pakistani or Indian that lives in the Mid East is there as a migrant worker and is despised by the locals so what "icon" is Khan to Arabs? Are you out of your fookin mind?

Nobody in Africa gives a **** ass about him. So what World are you talking about??

Lastly, none of Khan's fights in the US have been on PPV. Not a single one of his fights have been on Pay Per View!! Do you know what that means? He is NOT a PPV fighter in America so he is the B-side when he fights Floyd or Pacman.

You need to get that in your delusional head. The only way Khan will be on PPV is if he gets to fight Floyd or Manny. That's just a fact.

finally a commentator gets it right (besides malinaggi)

since the advent of Emmanuel ste***** passing and besides roy jones jr's cameos - commentators are largely a bunch of buffoons. they know nothing and have done nothing except purchase a thesaurus and repeat the same sayings over and over like ...
                "styles make fights"
                "punches in bunches"
                etc
few tell it how it like it is ... their network tells them not too or (more likely) they are just too dumb ... fans with microphones ... I watch most matches muted because frankly they really don't know anything they are talking about.
jim lampley's the fight game is a recitation of a random spreadsheet of random facts he blathers on about with way too many adjectives.
merchant is a bitter old senile man - and I have met him in person - he's really not that nice.
so thanks for finally saying what everyone knows - saying that amir khan is the emperor's clothes - he's just talking to hear himself talk thinking all lies = good press. thanks flores for putting it all into perspective - collazzo and algieri victories a champion doesn't make.

go quietly into the night amir - you useless untalented knockoutable scared GIT

yet he is worth 3 times more than thurman, brook, maidana all put together

khans may not be attraction for floyd and pac, but most of the guys at ww would love to share the ring with him.

his fight with Algerie still remains pbc's highest rated fight on cable tv,

obviously he is the b side when it comes to pac

by the way mannys team had no interest in fighting khan...arum and haymon beef will go on till one of them dies

also roach made it clear khan is a big task/risk for manny, and rather take on someone who is tailor made for them

khan should have a tune up in dec and gun for brook, garcia, thurman for the summer..that makes the most sense..these are all ppv
