This fight has to happen. GG bashers all agree that a Lara fight will legitimize GG. (There's a poll that lists all these bashers' names.)

The media needs to help out in making this fight happen. Fight between GG vs Cotto/Canelo winner is not going to happen, anyway. They might as well focus on this fight.

If Lara is the key to GG's legitimacy, then by all means make the fight happen. That's why Team GG needs to start focusing their attention on this one fight. Even if Cotto or Canelo intends to fight GG, I think many would agree the fight won't happen right away. We'll probably talking months or a year. So what would Team GG do in the meantime? Stay inactive and just wait for these guys' decision? That would be impractical.

It would be an interesting fight. GGG should fight Lara, then Canelo or Cotto.

That fight was a war, yeah Lara went down, but he got up and broke Angulo's face. Angulo was never fought at that level again. Also don't forget, Schaeffer told Lara he couldn't rehydrate more than 164lbs, but then Angulo came into the ring at 174lbs, then they had a small ring, and the inspector prevented Lara's corner from putting water on him to cool off between rounds. Lara's own promoters tried to get him to lose.

This fight needs to be promoted vigorously. Hundred percent of GG bashers have no objection to this fight.

To repeat, the Cotto/Canelo winner won't be fighting GG any time soon.

Team GG should start introducing the Lara fight to HBO and figure out the mechanics of dealing with it. Like, would Lara be able to negotiate without the Haymon connection? We assume he would because of the hints he's been spreading, ie, willing to fight in Kazakhstan, etc...

Soon Team GG will run out of options. They might as well welcome the Lara option.
