what doesn't add up is the guy ran from Canelo like he was in the Boston Marathon, and Canelo is a second-rate version of GGG

Lara won't do any better vs GGG than Monroe jr did.
Why can't any of you brand new Lara "fans" explain how Lara gets on HBO.
Stop ignoring reality and explain to everyone what has to happen for Lara to get this fight.

If Lara got himself into the mandatory spot for GGG's WBA belt, then he runs the risk of actually having to fight GGG instead of just talking about it lol
It's a lot easier for Lara to just play the name game to generate interest in his next disappointing performance.

Granted, lara is a boring boxer, some people would like him to disappear from boxing, wouldn't this fight be a good chance to send him into retirement? I give lara no chance at all in this fight, probably lara himself doesn't give himself any realistic chance, apparently it's only sanchez and some of ggg fans that give him a slight chance and look for excuses no to have the fight, it's mind boggling

              This right here

Yeah, too bad. Probably why he's got balls to call out Mr G in the first place. Just like Quillin.

Any way this fight can happen?

Lara could've already moved up to 160 and fought Danny Jacobs for that WBA belt. That is an in-house fight and would've put Lara in position to force GGG to fight him or vacate.
The fight could've went to purse bids and they could've forced GGG to fight off HBO or vacate.
Lara could've moved up to 160 already and tried to get one of the other titles for unification and take a chance that HBO would let him fight on their network...as long as Haymon allows him to fight off PBC too(lol yeah right)
Lara hasn't done any of those things because he is just talking to generate interest in his next fight vs Zaveck...at 154lbs and on PBC.
Let's see if he calls out the winner of Jacobs-Quillin in his post fight interview(he won't)

Lara saw that Lemieux made more fighting Golovkin than he made fighting Canelo

We'll soon find out if this Lara guy is really serious.
