What kind of PED testing is being done for the Cotto-Alvarez event?

It was good to see that GGG, Lemieux and the others on that fight card had VADA testing.

But I haven't seen anything about testing for the Cotto-Canelo event.

Does anybody know if the fighters are going to do random testing?

Every championship fight for the wbc from now on will use vada.

        Good.

But what about the undercard fights? Andre Ward has refused random testing in the past.

Maybe he has to agree to it, and that's why he's seeking a very easy opponent?

I remember some Little G fans going hard on Mayweather for announcing the fight 6 weeks before, saying he did it to avoid testing. Little G didn't start testing until 2 weeks before and these same people let it pass.

That's not correct. It's still voluntary.
