No need for a point point deduction or DQ. We've seen several fighters land punches after the bell and when opponents are down. Do we complain, no?

Someone brought up the Soto fight where the ref made a ****** call and everyone complained about it.

People are being dishonest when they say fighters have been DQ for lesser when in fact DQ are very rare and most times unwarranted. But I bet they can't even come up with 5 incidents from one single year were that is true.

People want to see GGG lose so bad they'll take it anyway they can get it.

You're 8 days late. There were several threads about it. Multiple polls reported that he should have had a point deduction, but it was nowhere DQ worthy. RJJ's DQ was very different.

There was plenty of "outrage", well mostly guys who hate Golovkin wanting him to lose by DQ.

Was it a foul? Yes. The ref could have certainly taken a point off or 2 if he thought it was intentional.

But to think that deserved a DQ is ridiculous, he was able to continue. Should fighters get DQ'd any time they low blow or hit behind the head or any other type of foul?

Is GGG being DQed really what you wanted to happen?
The two fouls were in sequence: left first, then right hand, and they were loaded punches too. Two fouls. What's worse is, instead of disqualifying or taking at least two points for intentional, flagrant fouls, the ref kept counting the knockdown. That's not right. The ref was with the house fighter.

As some people mentioned, seeing this ref in other fights, he is funny and cool. But, in this case, not so.

He just wasn't that hurt by it, if badly hurt it could have been a dq but he wasn't.

If he was badly hurt all we would have heard was about how Lemieux was faking it to get the W. The right guy won so I really don't need to get further into it than that.

He was only on his knee for a fraction of a second before GGG hit him, of course it shouldn't be a DQ. It's not even point deduction worthy.

Why no outrage for Crawford hitting Jean on the back of the head, when he was already down?

He clearly hit him late and then even followed it up by hitting him after the bell. A point needed to be taken away and a five minute break given. Fighters get a break for a low blow but David didn't for getting clocked while on a knee? It was handled poorly.

It really wasn't that bad. It was like half a second after Lemieux took a knee. That happens a lot.
