Bhop vs ggg

Not an accurate comparison. GGG has a very legitimate amateur pedigree, world championships, and an olympic medal. Trinidad was always a puncher with out skill.
GGG is a skilled fighter first and foremost who methodically stalks his opponents down. I'd be more apt to compare him to Klitschko than to Trinidad.Comment

GGG is still I better boxer, a legit MW, and has a superior chin.
GGG beats Hopkins. No need to live in the fantasies of the past. Hopkins has struggled with far lesser fighters than GGG during his MW run.
Anyone who think Hopkins dominates GGG is a fanboy. Anyone that thinks GGG vs Hopkins would look like Tito vs Hopkins has very limited knowledge.
GGG is slowly passing Hopkins up in terms of MW rankings and will soon overtake his record. Even James Toney can see that GGG will be a top 5 MW of all time.Comment

I'm pretty sure he couldn't be beat with just a jab from the peekaboo stance by a natural SWW. That's where the amateur xp comes in. Tito didn't beat much at MW, just Joppy.Comment

Trinidad always postured himself to look technical, but he really wasn't. He was a more successful Juanma, not a GGG.Comment

There is just no way of knowing. GGG wasn't tested yet. But if you think about it, Hopkins wasn't tested by really great middleweights as well. Or, if you count first fight with Jones, he failed the test (of course it was before their both primes...) Then he beat a lot of good solid fighters, some were great (but not as middleweights)... If Hopkins fought prime James Toney, we might had a better idea, but the timing was slightly off - when Hopkins became a factor, Toney was no longer a middleweight. The problem is - really great fighters don't come along very often and sometimes they don't have adequate dance partners.
One thing I'm sure of - it will not be an easy fight for both. There will be no "undressing". At the moment I don't see a weakness in GGG game that BHop could exploit. I liked Tito a lot, but he had worse chin and balance than GGG. Also as a middleweight he was just not strong enough. GGG is a great offensive fighter, Hopkins was a great defensive fighter. In a tight equal fight judges could see agression as a factor to give decision to GGG.Comment
