Question to Black People & Hip Hop Fans?

Is it just me or do I sense some racial Hip Hop feelings about this fight between Zab & Floyd? Am I the only one who feels insulted about this? I have read a ton of articles about this fight since it has happened and almost all of them have made a big story about Hip Hop and alot of them even had it in there titles and they try to make it sound like "you knew this would happened with a bunch of black Hip Hop thugs".

Im sick of **** like that. One article at the end of it even said that "and the sad part is that it probally even had nothing to do with hip hop".

I was like, then why the **** did you just spend your whole article talking about it ass hole. That **** seems kind of racist and sterotypical to me. This is boxing and crazy **** happends all the time with all kind of different races, so what makes this any different? It had nothing to do with Color or Hip Hop

From what I understood from what you said, I think it is all just a publicity stunt. Something to make the fight appeal to more black fans. I think Afro Americans have not supported boxing as strongly as they once were. Hip hop has crossed over and is a strong influence on people. When I saw Jay-z, usher, etc. on T.V. watching the fight live, it made the fight seem bigger than life to me. I don't know if it will work or be good to affiliate Hip hop with boxing, but I think it will help bring in some numbers. Everybody is into hip hop nowadays. Don't PBF and Zab both have record labels?

What I didn't like is when ESPN said the highlight of the fight was the brawl between the camps. I bet if that didn't happen they wouldn't of shown any highlights instead they would of just shown a screen with the results.

No I believe they would have shown highlights(they've done it before without a brawl). Both Floyd and Zab are popular in the hip hop audience(like me) cuz they both like that type of music, and they are black. Also Zab is a model for RocaWear.

You guys are missing my point. Im not talking about Hip Hop itself because obviously Floyd & Zab are part of that but Im saying that they are trying to put the fight and everything on Hip Hop like, this is all because they are black hip hop thugs and thats why everyone rushed the ring. They were saying things like "this is what happeneds in the hip hop community and they are violent and cant control themselves. There like a bunch of crazy animals".

Thats the feel Im getting from these articles and I have read them said that you could see a brawl coming because of these out of control black hip hop fighters and fans
