I think it's pointless even mentioning GGG at this point, he's miles away from stepping in the ring with him.

I expect him to beat Spike and then he becomes the mandatory from the winner of Quillin and Jacobs. Let's see how he does against those guys first.

I actually think he can be amongst the top guys in the middleweight division but not just yet. He jumped up to the Saunders fight too soon but still showed in the second half of it that he's no bum at all. He just needs to walk before he can run. Lets see what he can so with Spike next, then maybe fight a guy like the level of Heiland before getting in with someone like Quillin or Jacobs.

Eubank Jr was beaten by a pop and move fighter and his own lack of experience in a 12 round fight. A couple more fights and he'll be as ready as anyone for the G test. People saying he'll get slaughtered, but you won't see Jr backing off in straight lines and sitting on the ropes to be taken apart. There's no question he is the faster combination puncher and with the kind of variety to pose plenty of problems. If he has inherited the family chin, then he will be more than competitive. Golovkin is obviously the seasoned fighter, but I would have picked Jr to beat Lemieux, I didn't see him having anything other than a slim puncher's chance against GGG. Quilin would be an excellent guide to what Eubank Jr is capable of at world level.

I think Sr wants the fight for Jr. More than Jr wants the fight himself.

              Perhaps?

              Thats exactly what it is.

This is a guy who called out Andre Ward a few years ago too

Eubank couldn't beat Billy Joe Saunders. He's not likely to beat Golokin, is he?

At least he has the courage to fight him, unlike the craven Quillan.
