Sure you can say Canelo is heavier at the 30-day weigh-in than Golovkin, so he should face Golovkin at 160. But if Canelo can make 155 being heavier than Golovkin at the 30 day weighin, why can't Golovkin make the same weight especially when he's stated he would go even lower than 155 for a big PPV fight?

Let's be honest guys. Golovkin will accept 155 if it gets him Canelo or Cotto. That WBC belt is meaningless if he doesn't earn it in the ring against one of the two stars fighting on November 21.

My question Is, why is Canelo starving/dehydrating himself to make 155 when he's truly a MW?

I can understand Cotto not being a full fledge MW as he's a smaller man but who does Canelo think he's kidding?

Boxing needs to bring back same day weigh ins to stop this type of crap. Canelo enters the ring damn near a LHW.

How funny would it be if he missed weight.

If that is the case. GET YOUR ASS READY. GGG will beat the winner of LEE VS SAUNDERS, AND THEN YOU BETTER BE READY BY THEN. YOU ARE NO LONGER A NATURAL 154 FIGHTER.

Exactly. But his entire career (apart from Mayweather fight) he has been used to getting his demands met. This is just another case of that.

They are the same size!!! What this means is Canelo conceeds defeat to GGG. This is an embarassment for the Mexican boxing fans. GGG appropriately and honestly represents Mexican boxing.

Any Golovkin fans want to answer this question ?

The same posters who are ridiculing Stevenson for being the lonely kid on a street-corner kicking rocks, now want Golovkin to go and kick rocks with him.

                Fuuny sheeeit !

                WTF ?

Stevenson passed on possible fights Hopkins/Kovalev/Pascal.....

Now Golovkin will pass on possible fights Ward/Lara/Cotto/Canelo.

Stevenson is seen as a paper champ for not earning the lineal title.

                Golovtards applaud that.

Now Golovkin will be seen as a paper champ for not earning the lineal title.

                Golovtards will clap anyway.

Golovkin should want to fight Cotto AND Canelo, WTF ?

Lil G gave Canelo the perfect blueprint on how to avoid a fighter with the Ward situation force him to fight at a catchweight then say there isn't enough money in that fight, lol. The real pretender is Lil G unwilling to test himself fighting bum after bum truly pathetic..
Right, and Angulo, Lara and Kirkland were superstars. I don't think Canelo a straight bum, he's alright but he knows he's got nothing for GGG so he better not pretend he's the MW champ.

                    It is a ridiculous question.

You have no idea how taxing it is for Canelo, everyone is different.

His handlers are meticulous with his weight.

FACT: If Canelo can make 154 and be healthy for 12 rounds, he is a JMW

FACT: If Canelo cannot make 155 and be healthy, Cotto will find out and let us know, very soon

An embarrassment is Lil G saying he'll fight anyone from 154-168lbs but once Ward comes calling him bluff Lil G starts backpedaling saying it must be a catchweight or no fight, what a joke. Lil G fans should be embarrass by the way their hero ***** out after Ward said he'll fight him
