I don't think he can. I would be really surprised, and impressed if he did. GGG is a complete fighter, if Floyd wins, he will have to fight, GGG won't have any respect for him like Maidana.

GGG exemplifies the old saying that Timing Beats Speed, so Golovkin could very likely knock Floyd out senseless. It'd be like Canelo/Khan - Floyd's speed elusiveness, and counter-punching ability would provide problems for GGG, but could he keep it up for 36 minutes? Possibly, but it's not certain.

Yea, I don't see how GGG doesn't start to land at an efficient rate during the mid rounds. We would really see if Floyd has a granite chin or not.

I'mma go with Floyd, cos we don't even know what GGG looks like at 154, he might be a zombie. I expect GGG would beat him at 160 though.

why do so many people want to see mayweather fight him? He is old and smaller.

Honestly I don't think many people do.

It's a fun topic more than anything to me because, the insecurity of the haters has nowhere to look for someone who can beat GGG, so they elect for the "safe" bet, the Joker in the deck, Floyd, to try and prove that he can be beaten.

What's crazy about it is that GGG would be a legitimate threat if it ever actually happened.
