Thats what I thought. He will probably be 153-154.

That ten pounds must be death for Golovkin
No, he is not. 154 lbs is a jmw limit, everything above is mw 155-160. Is that so hard to understand.

He already had 4 fights at catch weight and its clear as day that he is afraid of fighting guys his own size. Canelo is really dissapointing and becoming a ***** and ***** at very fast pace...

Nelo is going to fold Cotto up. He had better man up and face GGG after that though. If not give up the belt and move on.

Roach is talking about taking Canelo into deep waters and getting a TKO there. Cotto's 160, Canelo's 167 30 days out, so it seems to be according to their plan.

But at the same time, 30 days is a LONG time and these fighters can drop weight so easily

                  Yer, he is.....

                  1) If 155 is middleweight, why is Golovkin crying ?

                  2) Seriously, what fkn middleweight weighs 155? Name one! Ridiculous!

                  3) Middleweights weigh 160, and they fight other middleweights.....
FACT: Canelo has never fought at 160
FACT: Canelo has never fought a middleweight

                  4) Knowledgeable fans know that it is not about rehydration weight.....
Team Golovkin are well-aware that Canelo will be a better fighter if given time to undertake full training camps that are designed to prepare him for 160

This..... " Canelo is a middleweight " rubbish..... is just the latest silly fanboy attempt to hand Golovkin the world on a silver platter without him having to earn it.....

..... Canelo is unprofessional for not making 154, but at least he is willing to get in the ring with a dangerous opponent.

It looks like Cotto is coming in light and Canelo is on track.

Canelo will be bigger than Cotto, but everyone knew that, no big deal.

Same picture and same weight for the Martinez thread ...

Sergio Martinez and Miguel Cotto are both well on target to make weight for their June 7 World lineal middleweight championship at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Cotto is already mere ounces within the 160 lb. weight limit, according to results from his official weight documented during the World Boxing Council (WBC) mandatory 30-day pre-fight weight check. Fighters who are competing in a WBC-sanctioned bout must be within 10% of the contracted weight at the 30-day point, and no heavier than 5% by seven days prior to fight night.
