If he steps up and fights Ward, then I will change my opinion if GGG steps up.

Bigdunny-good to see a boxer get endorsement deals. Too bad this doesn't translate to PPV sales. All of us should be happy GGG is getting these.

Freedom-Yes, as boxing fans we should all be happy. GGG is good for the sport.

        Bigdunny-I would disagree right now(...)

What the fcuk? This was three consecutive posts. Lest you all forget who we deal with on a daily basis in NSB, here is a prime example.

The Big Dunn is comical in his own way. He's good for the boxing discussions here.

Who needs PPV sales when you have bad ass endorsements. Floyd needed PPV sales because no great company in their right mind would endorse a lying cheating woman beating ****** thug pnssy ass coward .

I was disagreeing with freedom that GGG was good for the sport, not that it was good for him to get endorsements.

I don't think it's good for the sport that the alleged face can't sell more than 150k ppvs.

Any boxer getting endorsements is good IMO.ok

Canelo's the face of boxing, currently, unless you consider Manny Pacquiao (who's about to retire I'd imagine).

It's not like people don't know him. Despite what people here are saying, a lot more people do know who he is based on his HBO TV ratings (1.338 average, 1.474 peak). People aren't willing to shell out cash to see his last PPV fight because they still don't know him to well, nor his opponent. Honestly, the hype really starts once a boxer gets thrown in the ring with a known opponent. There aren't too many opponents he can fight right now that are popular, unfortunately. Canelo is his only option for a big fight right now (Cotto won't get in the ring with him obviously). There's other opponents to consider, but they would be more popular on the international scene.
