Comments Thread For: Canelo Deflects GGG Weight Rift, Says Focus is Cotto

Mexican superstar Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (45-1-1, 32KOs) has brushed off any further talk of a future fight with IBO/WBA/IBF middleweight champion Gennady "GGG" Golovkin (34-0, 31KOs), and says his entire mental drive is focused on the upcoming fight with WBC champion Miguel Cotto (40-4, 33KOs) on November 21 at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.

Don't give 97 grand any publicity. Good job, Canelo.

Ward is ducking GGG and any other decent fighter. Canelo is fighting the real dudes. Leave him alone and let him hurdle one mountain at a time. Go harass Scared Of Golovkin.

canelo said years ago he's not interested in 160. he's only fighting cotto for a $30 million dollar payday. that belt don't mean sht to him. and if cotto wins he will demand a catchweight too. triple G is a NOBODY, and must sit there like a good boy and accept whatever crumbs the A SIDE gives him. get down or lay down.

As he should be. Beating Cotto is no small task.

Theyre all bums against GGG! Ward will also be one of the bums when he gets stretched.
