I'll watch. Great fighter when he wanted to prove it, sadly that wasn't enough.

His win over an undefeated Kessler is a great win, and showed what he could do when he wanted to. The sad thing is that i reckon his physical prime would have been before that fight, probably in the early-mid 2000's, yet it was spent defending a WBO belt against very average competition. We probably never got to see the best of Calzaghe.

In my opinion a great fighter who never had the true desire to prove it throughout his career. He could have had a lot of great wins on his record if he wanted it.

I was never the biggest Calzaghe fan (wasn't a fan of that 168 weight division overall for the most part), but I'll definitely check out this doc when its available to watch. Big fan of docs, obviously a big fan of boxing so I watch every boxing doc I come across.

Oh hell yea!! Been watching a lot of Calzaghe fights lately to get myself pumped about getting back in the gym after taking the summer off. His relentless output is very motivating to me. Casuals have no idea how hard it is to be able to pour it on like that and maintain your footwork, round after round. Thx for posting this.
