Roc Nation Sports is asking a judge to dismiss a breach of contract lawsuit against Roc Nation Sports, which was filed by former champion Demetrius Andrade.

Andrade sued Roc Nation earlier this year, claiming they agreed to buy out his $2 million contract from promoter Star Boxing. He also alleged he cancelled a $550,000 bout in December 2014 with Jermell Charlo Boxing on the urges of Roc Nation Sports and was also promised he would be paid the amount by executives at RNS if he didn't participate in the fight.

Bad management. RNS told him they'd buy out his contract for no more than $2M. Then they'd pay him for passing on the fight. Obviously when RNS went to negotiate with Star and Banner Boxing, they wanted more than $2M. No agreement, Andrade remains with Star and Banner. No money from RNS and can't get fights with Haymon fighters anymore.

Seriously, I don't remember Roc Nation being the reason for the withdrawel, but maybe it was. IMO the guy rec'd a gift. Kinda doubt he'd get by Charlo anyway.

I doubt it. The story Andrade has told doesn't even seem believable to me & more importantly doesn't really make sense from RN's side...or his side tbqh. And since I know he's a knucklehead I tend to think this gets dismissed or I tend to suspect Andrade loses.

I think that Roc probably had no intention of signing him it was just a way to throw a wrench in Haymons plans. Similar to when they first started they went out of their way to try and poach Haymons clients with ridiculous offers knowing they couldn't / wouldn't accept probably just to stir the pot and create tensions.

Dirty way to do business but coming from a company that has Jay-Z as a figurehead I wouldnt expect anything less.

Regardless hope Andrade continues to be active and gets in some big fights
