To be fair..... GGG has contradicted Loeffler at least twice that I know of.

Not contradicted, I mean corrected, on video.

    This is exactly like Pacquiao/Arum.

Arum does his thing, Manny gets stuck defending the impossible.

Or worse, Manny's fans got stuck defending the impossible.

They never read from the same page, just like Golovkin/Loeffler.

Team GGG talk shht, but Golovkin himself seems pretty straight-up.

If you think he knocks out both, how can you possibly suggest that Golovkin move on ?

That fight is exactly what your guy needs.

Its not just that people didn't buy GGG's fight, people aren't buying GGG.

      They are both JMW's.

Cotto weighs 153, Canelo stated yesterday that he has no interest in 160.

So of course neither of them will weigh 160.

Cotto should have dropped the belt, but he didn't.

        Just 0.

There is no reason whatsoever for that fight not to happen.

        • In boxing a fighter doesn't publicize without consulting with his trainer or promoters first hand on what to expect from the press. This is why K2 and Sanchez are 90% of GGG's career approach in press. This is why GGG had never wanted the Ward fight. Personally I never even believed that fight would happen, but K2 and Sanchez opening their mouths for other divisions.

Much of what Alvarez is saying is all Golden Boy coaching. The way boxing is going with K2 promoting conflicts for the Cotto and Canelo bout how do you think Golden will approach this later? GGG needs Cotto or Canelo to become big. Don't jix it, or your superstar won't get made nor get the money they're really after. Only other route is to move up in weight and we all know GGG has no priority interest in that.
