Sometime that's exactly what a fighter needs. A new voice new direction to reinvigorate the fighter's career. Sometimes loyalty is not in the best interest of the fighter.

What other fighters do you think would benefit from a change of trainers?

What fighter and what trainer do you think would make a good combination?

Roach as a fighter was all offense and he is the same as a trainer. There's nothing he can do for AB in my opinion.
I agree with u in a sense but at the same time when ABs on the defensive he freezes up altogether...its simple hes not a defensive fighter. In ABs case a good defense would be a good offense

I would love if AB did this. People can hate on roach all they want but he's an amazing trainer. And like others have said the smack talk from them leading up to a fight would be priceless.

Let's face it...AB lost to two guys he has much more talent then...

The Maidana fight..he should have just boxed over 12 rounds... and the Porter fight he needed to be more aggressive.. when he finally did in the 12th he almost KO'd Porter...

AB needs to focus on what he does best..not trying be caught in no man's land trying to emulate a certain style every fight..

It's interesting how there's a sorta fraternity of trainers which includes Ohio's Stafford, Washington DC's Hunter, and St. Louis' Cunningham. They work together, they get along, and are supportive of each other. You normally don't see that among trainers, they view each other as potential competition. At any fight involving these guys there's a good chance the other is working the spit bucket or or stool.

What a good change that would be for Adrien. My biggest criticism of him is his stiffness/lack of lateral movement. Roach fighters tend to excel at this very thing. Would possibly do wonders for Broner.

If Broner was smart he would jump ship and get on the Roach boat. Freddy can do a lot of good for Broner IMO. He'd be able to help him be more offensive and let them hands go. Do it Broner move on over to Roaches boat.

Freddie the joke coach Roach aint teachin Broner nothin new. Broner needs to learn to counter to be more effective and thats not Roaches style of teaching. Broner does let his hands go when his opponent isnt coming forward, Broner needs to learn to counter off the roll. I know it sounds funny but a Mexican trainer like Beristein or even Morales would be good for Broner but I know Broner aint messin with no Messicanz...

Everybody wants Roach! He's the coach that beat Mayweather with a one armed fighter.
