..........."at Jr MW and MW".....................I'm pretty sure Robinson fought at 160 only after 1951. There was no division or title at jr. middleweight or he would have owned that too. He did fight many times at the now junior weight limit against middleweights. The difference between 5 and 9 pounds with a same day weighin never bothered Sugar his talent weighed heavier than the body weights.
There were times LaMotta made the limit in the morning 8:00 am (requested) and then rehydrasted over 20lbs during the day and night leading up to bell time (10pm) Thats when the last 4 to 5 days is all about making weight and then packing it back on in 12 hours. It helped that Jake became a bit hyper the days before a fight. To say he was a bit edgey is an under statement.

This is why GGG should just move up already. There's nothing for him at 160. He'd be ****** to cut weight at this point in his career, be it against Floyd Canelo Cotto or anyone.

GGG should do whatever they ask of him. Reason being, if he wins that fight, he's the cash cow of the sport. Lose in negotiations now to never lose again.

NSB is hilarious these days, GGG fans writing anti Ward posts left and right and Ward fans writing anti GGG posts left and right. and so are the Cotto fans. and now that Canelo made his fans look st*pid by admitting that he doesn't plan to fight GGG any time soon unless of course if GGG is willing to come down to Canelo land 155lb. funny ****

... but, eventually, Canelo would still have to call him out for a real fight at 160... with all the belts on the table... It's true that GGG would make less money, but all the others (South or North) would have to fight him on his own terms for the undisputed championship at 160...
But he will be undisputed in name only.

Just like paper champions are champion in name only.

Golovkin should beat the winner in the ring, not rely on him being stripped.

156 sounds fair, Golovkin weighed 157 a couple of fights back.

There is no reason for that fight not to happen..... based on that fact, people will say that Golovkin took the easy way out.

TBE being undefeated, doesnt mean that he's the best..... Golovkin being "undisputed" wont mean shht if he is avoiding difficult fights.

It doesnt matter what HBO want us to call Golovkin, us fans will decide what to call him.
