Today, Main Events went public with Kovalev's negotiating stance, putting the following out on its Twitter account: "Stevenson is lucky that we're offering 50/50. It's not a 50/50 fight anymore. That's the 'concession' he gets to fight on HBO... And when you fight on three different networks in your last three fights, you can't claim 'network loyalty.' That's ridiculous... Enough. Kovalev is the A-side. If Stevenson wants to fight him, Stevenson has to come to him." Kovalev, who just cancelled a November fight in Russia, seems likely to give former Jean Pascal a rematch in January, with world super middleweight champion Andre Ward also rumored to be in discussions for a 2016 fight.
