Ward vs Fonfara

I would like to see that fight.

Of course it won't happen because fonfara is with Haymon and it probably wouldn't happen anyway because Ward wants softer touches.

its the perfect fight for ward to start his 175 campaign, but we have yet to see haymon and roc nation do a fight together.

Excellent fight. I just don't know what happened to Ward. This guy was easily the best fighter in boxing during the super six. You can't earn Floyd, Pacman money just because you're great. Boxing stardom doesn't work like that. Such a waste of a truly great fighter...............

Fonfara has made good showings against three big fighters but I don't consider any of those three to really be that good.

Unfortunately Stevenson, Chavez Jr, and Cleverly were all to some degree domestic hype jobs from their respective countries and their resumes don't match their fame.

He does not pass the "eye test". His style is just so damn basic and he doesn't fight tall despite being a beanpole.

I think it would be a rather easy fight for Ward. But a good payday for Fonfara and a good return to "name" opponents for Ward.

This is site always funny. When Fonfara beat Chavez Jr. the flavor of the month was that Chavez Jr. was a bum, and Fonfara was the best thing, and Fonfara has been top 5 for more than a year, which means Chavez Jr. went 9 rounds with a seasoned Light Heavyweight.

Yeah I agree, Ward would take down the Polish sausage easy.
