I agree with Garcia somewhat, but I think it's more that GGG just seems like a non-confrontational personality type of person...

He doesn't strike me as the type of person to get into a big argument/fight with someone he has just met even if he doesn't agree with their politics...

He's seems like a quiet nice person basically...Alot of fighters seem to have that personality (which is weird since you think it would be the opposite)....

Kovalev also seems quiet and shy.....People seem to think he is this mean aggressive guy (outside of the ring), but I don't see that personality from him at all...To me someone like Rampage Jackson or Michael Bisping are aggressive/confrontational people, not Kovalev...

Yep not his personality type at all.....

Alot of fighters have these quiet non confrontational (almost beta?) personalities....You would be surprised....

It also doesn't help that he barely speaks English.....

It was pretty ****** of K2 through...GGG's trainer is also Mexican so it was a bad look all the way around...

Even if GGG is naive to it, you would think someone amongst his team knows its bad PR to have this kind of thing happen, not just about Trump but anything or anyone to do with politics because you're always going to alienate some people.

The problem there is that even if they denied Trump or any other political guy of any belief access, the media would then create a story like "GGG snubs trump" - and even then you're going to alienate some other people because Trump has his followers and it looks like you're aligning yourself somewhere else by default, even if you're impartial or don't even care about politics.

The best thing is to avoid it at all costs without it looking like you're aligning yourself with anyone. Unless of course you are aligning yourself with someone, then do whatever you believe and speak your mind.
