Mayweather May Lose Title, Margarito Next

According to the Nevada Appeal, IBF championships chairman Lindsey Tucker said Monday that Mayweather may get stripped the outcome of a hearing, set to take place on Thursday in Las Vegas. The Nevada State Athletic Commission will hold a 10 a.m. hearing on Thursday at the State Building in Las Vegas in order to review tapes of the 10th round riot which took place during Saturday's pay-per-view battle between Floyd Mayweather and Zab Judah at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas. They need to change these ****** rules. Why should a fighter lose a fight because of his trainer.

How many times we see this in other sports, I don't see the team losing, you just see the coach getting kicked out of the game.

It's a ****** rule & I hope we stop having all the big fights in Nevada. NYC should be taking these big fights, like in the old days.

IBF is a joke. They took away any credibility from its title by giving it back to Judah.

Haha, I love how Nevada always stands out from the pack of the other commissions....

Only in Nevada can a referee DQ a fighter if anyone from his camp walks into the ring...Steele did not, should be a moot point now...

          Case Closed and move on.

Las Vegas is the capital of boxing. Whatever happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. Mayweather beat Judah in Vegas, no two ways about it.

If Arum has Mayweather and Margarito, how could the fight NOT take place?

I don't see any way this fight doesn't happen if Arum promotes both guys. Arum let Mayweather have his gimme fight with Judah, now he should have to step up to the plate against a quality opponent. Can't wait for July!

Agreed, it would've had more credibility if they would've vacated it and allowed Zab vs PBF to fight for the vacant title but just giving it back to Zab was so ******ed that it was almost laughable.

From what I heard the decision has already been made, they just going to make it official on thursday.

Mayweather will get strip and the IBF championship will go back to Zab Judah. The reason is because the rule saids corner cannot come into the ring or is a automatic disqualification. There's no if or buts thats the bottom line and the rule.

Is a shame I thought Mayweather fought a brilliant fight he might of lost 3 out of 5 first rounds in my book but thats cuz he was getting use to Judah and his southpole style after that he won most rounds and the fight.

GunStar1: they are many reason this rule is put into place and is not a ****** rule. One they must be strict about anybody entering the ring to protect the fighters, perfect example Roger went to confront and attack Judah. Another reason is for the corner to protect their own fighter if they feel there in serious danger and want to holt the fight immedietly. Bottom line Roger Mayweather is a veteran and that sport has been his life. He knew the rule and should had known better it was idiotic of his part entering the ring and costing his nephew the fight.

well, if Mayweather gets stripped, is it ruled a DQ or a NC? either way, it looks bad on Mayweather's perfect record. this is bull**** and I'm fed up with titles.
