When they announce the Ward fight is about to start, people watching the PPV will go put the beer in the fridge, go to the bathroom, put the children to bed, and do other stuff until that fight is over.

If they are in the Mandalay Bay, Ward's fight is the time to go get a drink, buy some food, and go wait in the lineup for the bathroom. Then come back for the main event.

Not gonna lie the last time I watched a Ward fight was maybe the Chad Dawson one?
Its hard to remember it was a long time ago, I don't see me watching this one either, I just hope it doesn't get a co-main event slot that would be shameful.

Ward's Irish-American father got him into boxing and took him to church a lot as a child. Ward's mother abandoned him when he was a small child, so he was raised just by his dad.

Ward is not black. He's mixed like the recent shooter in Oregon, who also had a white father and a black mother.

I've always rooted for black boxers like Dawson and Green when they fight Ward, because they are more likable, just regular honest guys not being arrogant and having big egos like the self-proclaimed "Son of God".

i think he'll get cheered into the ring, due to his nationality. A lot of people in that audience will have forgot what wards like because they wont have seen him fight for 5 years. A couple of rounds in when the clinches start and the first headbutt gets thrown the crowd will start to turn on ward. People say im hating on ward and exaggerating his clinching etc, but trust me he is going to revert to type against kovalev, hes going to do exactly what he did against the other two top fighters he fought, kessler and froch.
