Taylor-Calzaghe would be a phenomenal fight. Not sure how I'd pick that one yet. I hope Taylor can get by Winky so this happens. Calzaghe vs. Tarver or Wright is a snoozer where Joe will have to carry the fight against two very defensive-minded, cautious fighters.

Well, he's far too fast AND active for Wright, and probably too strong as well. I don't see Wright beating him.

But I really don't know who has more handspeed between Taylor and Calzaghe, honestly. But yeah, I think Calzaghe could take Taylor's punch. Calzaghe is there to be hit, though. And I like Taylor's jab. I really don't know who to favor here. Let's see how Taylor looks against Winky -which is a rough test since Winky is so hard to look good against, but still. Calzaghe may just be too strong for Taylor in the end. I'm not sure you'd get Dibella to agree to this fight for Jermaine, though. But man what an early legacy if Taylor can go from undisputed MW to undisputed SMW. May be too tempting to pass up, esp if they can come up with the $$.

                I agree with this.

I think Taylor can win a UD against Calzaghe, he his a big middleweight with decent power and good handspeed.

My money would be on a Winky-Calzaghe fight. Taylor has made no comment or noises (as far as I'm aware) about seeking a fight with Joe. At least Winky has talked about avenging Lacy's loss.
