I've said the Floyd fight doesn't make sense, but let's not forget, Ward comes in at 185, although, like Floyd, he hides his fight weight, everyone knows it's true.
So where Ward is 15 pounds heavier than GGG, GGG is 15 pounds heavier than Floyd.
Let's be real, no one knows what Floyd walks into the ring at.
He hides it.
Ward is approximately 10lbs heavier than Golovkin.
Keep it real.
A 10lb difference is nothing nowadays.
Cotto agreed to fight Canelo knowing that he will be outweighed by 10lbs+ on the night by a bigger/stronger/younger man.Comment

This article screams, "leave Floyd alone!!!" Lol
Ive always thought Floyd beats GGG in a boring 12rd UD. But then theres the size difference and you take into account Floyd has always had trouble with fighters with a good jab. Nope its never been the "Floyd doesnt like southpaws doe" myth, it was a jab that would make Floyd think.
Size matters.
I have always said that Mayweather would beat Golovkin at 154.
I doubt that anyone can beat Golovkin at 160 right now.Comment

Golovkin is approximately 20lbs heavier than Mayweather.

No he is not.
Ward rehydrated to 185-190 by some accounts. Any unofficial weights on record are not walk into the ring weight.
And you are comparing Floyd's once about a time ring weight to GGG rehydration weight.
For years Floyd has hid his weight. My guess Floyd at the very least comes it at 155, if not heavier.
Why else hide his rehydration weight. It also explains the need for the IV. He is cutting more than he lets on.
I don't think Ward is too big anyways, I'm just showing that the weights between the two are comparable. I think Mayweather is too old.
I mean Floyd doesn't walk into the ring at 150 anymore. No way.Comment

Even his worst fight still shyt's on other peoples best fights when it comes to PPV sales. That throws that theory he is not a draw and people don't like to watch out the window.Comment

im tired of this debate that ggg isn't fighting "top" opponents; mayweather is boring. period. golovkin is beaten people down, no matter who steps in the ring... who would you rather watch a runner or someone who is on a knockout streak... this is a ****** debate; just watch the fights and stop talking s***Comment

PPV star? Get your cornball ass outta here! This is Lil G's second ppv idiot! How well did that first one do? Lara, Angulo, and Guerrero are PPV stars now too huh?
Andre still whoops his ass no matter how you cut it slice it and dice itComment

Your post has a inaccuracy
Whether you agree or not, very few like his style.

Of course people are gonna like a guy who makes others bleed and is on a 22 KO streak. Just a few shy of the all time record.
And no, Lara is not a PPV star. Neither is GGG, unless the numbers turn out big.
But GGG is a star. He is one popular dude these days, no doubt about that.
If GGG keeps winning, he'll be one huge star, because fans like his style.
And let's face it, he is white. To some, that matters.
I think that is disgusting, but I won't deny it.Last edited by Progrssive_Jedi; 10-20-2015, 03:12 AM.Comment
