Comments Thread For: Braehmer Injured, Oosthuizen Title Fight Postponed

For years, Jurgen Braehmer has been relegated to the background when discussion surfaces of thebest light heavyweights in the world today.

Now he's forced to the sidelines, thus postponing plans for a fight that would have improved his stance in such discussions.

I was interested in seeing what happened in that one. I was hoping Cleverly could get the winner.

This is why boxing is a young man's sport.

Most old men can't handle the wear and tear of training.

The Mexicans have the right idea. Get your man into the game at age 16, and if he's successful, he'll retire with good money by his mid 30s.

truly shocking result! braehmer now has pulled out of 3 fights against top 10 opponents: shumenov, cleverly, and oosthizen. the other top 10 fighter he fought in his career was garay who beat him. can't believe people talk about braehmer like he's legit. he's just the ward of 175

Probably has a tummy ache like he did the week before Shumenov. I am sure Sauerland will bring him back soon to beat up another corpse
