I hold them both to the same standard. If either wants to fight GGG, neither are being forced to weigh in at 160.

Based on last Saturday results, I can already see a yellow streak running down Canelo's and Cotto's back. Neither of them will have the testicular fortitude to face GGG.

If they watched it, neither are likely too surprised.

I can see Canelo accepting the challenge. There would be no size advantage for either fighter come fight time.

I think that he would either demand the exact same catchweight that Cotto would 155/156, which team Golovkin would likely refuse..... or he would petition the WBC to allow him a couple of voluntaries so he can adapt to middleweight.

But I think that the WBC would strip Cotto.

I think Golovkin needs Cotto to beat Canelo.

I love Cotto, imho he's a hall of fame boxer, great accomplishments, stunted by doctored gloves in the first Margarito fight, yet he should turn in his middleweight crown or fight GGG. If he beats Canelo, he should move down to 154 if he wants to keep fighting and give GGG his unified crown.
