Lara would be heads and shoulders above any fighter that Golovkin has ever stepped into the ring with, in terms of name ID and talent, yet they never considered the fight (while crying about no one being willing to fight him).

Cotto and Canelo are both junior middleweights, likely heading down to 154 for their possible rematch. Only reason Golovkin now caes about "unifiying the titles" (while never mentioning Lee-Saunders winner) is because him and his camp see the payday that a fight with either of the star junior middleweights would mean for a 33-year old middleweight who refuses to fight anyone.
I'm not sure what Lara has to do with anything. If Lara gets a MW title, then GGG would fight him. Otherwise, all that was said was that GGG would KO guys at 154 or 160. Doesn't mean he's not pursuing the MW titles anymore.

I don't remember him saying that. Do you have any quotes which you haven't edited?

          It's called proper grammar.

You see the word "nobody"? That's an important word here. So even if Sanchez thinks he'd KO Ward, doesn't mean he feels the same way about every single 168 pounder. Hence why he can't say "Noboby in 168 lasts 12 rounds with GGG" because it wouldn't be grammatically correct.

Mayweather made poor reading comprehension the in thing these days.

Take these two sentences, can many of these guys identify the differences:

            We'll fight anyone from 154-168.

No one from 154-160 can last 12 rounds.

One is not like the other, but many are claiming they are the same, except for the number 8.

            Damn you Mayweather!

It's not really hard to understand that. Him saying he can KO 154-160 fighters doesn't change how he feels about fighting Ward. It's not like they ever said the first time that they would batter everyone in the 168 division either. Maybe they thought they could KO Ward (though I think Ward would outbox him) but don't think they can KO a fighter like say a DeGale or Jack.

Soo basically all I'm getting from these GGG fanboys is Lara doesn't deserve it because he is boringl and was robbed( even though he would be GGG best win) and Ward is ducking Kolavev because he fought at 172 after a lay off. I mean I like GGG but y'all giving him a pass on fighting technical guys is disgusting, so what if they're not that exciting they're good boxers. So should we just look at one sided beat downs all the time like Stevens( who didn't earn it) , Monore(really)and Lemieux was and as we all know Lee and Cotto/Canelo are going too be granted those are for titles but still.

Face it guys GGG is the best Middleweight in the world and at 154 or 168 or even 175 he doesn't have many people who can give him hard fight: Lara, Andrade, Chunky, Ward, Kolavev and maybe Stevenson that's it.

                    Thanks for clearing that up.

I guess it was a grammatical error when they said they'd fight anyone from 154-168 too.

They meant "except Ward at 164".

My bad. That makes them look much better!

I don't see why not. Smith stunned award pretty bad.

If GGG lands solidly on Ward, there a solid chance that's been one.

What people have to take into account, when GGG does move up to 168, he'll likely hit a little harder.

Maybe not, but that's scary thought.
