This is fake information. There's no video where GGG even mentions any of those circumstances or reason to believe what you're saying is true. On the contrary, whenever anyone interviewed GGG regarding Ward he has ALWAYS stated he has no business fighting Ward. It's all on Youtube.
Why are you bringing up Andre CoWard...last I heard HBO demanded that Ward sign to fight Kovalev or else no more cab drivers..and CoWard ran to BET..now I heard CoWard finally found his balls and is considering signing a 2-3 fight deal with HBO and the second fight would be Kovalev... I'll believe it when it's signed..

Triple G is actually a pretty small to average sized middleweight who can make 54'... the Ward talk is over..let Ward pick on a Lightheavy his own size...

    • Why Abel Sanchez opens his mouth about 154 and fans justifying it, yet when a fighter at 154 - Like Lara - react to this and wants a shot he is not good enough?!! W..T..F? I don't understand this...

      Logical Fallacy?

Or, K2 is insinuating and calling out Alvarez for that pay check?

don't forget they picked monroe over lara cuz monroe was more "known":

Rosado was chosen for his style, not because he earned it. GGG's 2nd showing on HBO and they needed another impressive display to wow the casuals. There's no need to fabricate it as a GGG fan.

And Willie Monroe Jr. won the Boxcino tournament on ESPN, making him just as known to the casual American public as Lara, if any casuals cared to see Lara after watching fight Canelo and Smith.

        • Here are four names:

          1. Floyd Mayweather
          2. Andre Ward
          3. Lara
          4. G. Rigo

If you're a huge fan of any 3 of 4 names listed above..inbox me if you are interested in an MMA-rules fight against me.

Looking to set up a legally-sanctioned fight with a poster on here who is a big fan of at least 3 of 4 of the names above.

          Thanks.

          P.S. I agree with Sanchez's statement.

bigjavi973's point is that Rosado was coming from 154 against GGG... Please keep in mind, it is very practical to say that Lara doesn't bring anything when the boxing world thought Lara beat Canelo. Lara has crazy ring footwork. That's not GGG's style. Most of his opponents stay in the pocket or are not as fast as Lara. We all know what time it is.

K2 and Team GGG don't practice against Potshot masters, and Lara got pop in those 1-2 quick combos. Monroe Jr. has no bonafide Cuban style training.

Boxing world? Meaning... Online nerds who like "slick boxers" aka fighters who do nothing offensively but win rounds creating low output fights?

Yeah umm no..I had Canelo winning that fight easily...with effective aggression..his aggression was effective..that Lara did nothing offensively over 12 rounds and got rocked a few times even while running..

I know you're one of these Online Nerds who thinks Lara won the rounds because he "outlanded" Canelo 6 to 5 in punches for the round.. that's not how it works..

Back in the day scoring was that the fighter running away had to knock down the opponent or hurt the opponents to win the round..aggressive fighter wins the round by default unless the runner does something...

Boxing has become sissified now..runners win rounds and make every fight debatable doing nothing but pot shotting, clinching and running..

                Kids and trolls these days...

Let me remind you it was a Split Decision! And Levi Martinez's 117-111 is just as funny as your opinion. You're saying Lara doesn't deserve a bout with GGG when Sanchez promotes that no 154 fighter can take on GGG? Oxymoron 100%

I'm sure that during his amateur days he's fought plenty of quick fighters, it wont be anything new for Golovkin.

Considering Lara is quicker and has longer reach than GGG, I can see him stealing a couple of rounds from Golovkin, but I can't see him winning the fight in the slightest. It's not that Golovkin's opponents like to stay in the pocket, he's crazy good at herding them there. Lara will escape half the time, but when he doesn't, he'll get worn down real quickly.

Ok like I said. You think Lara won because he landed more punches while running away...

The pitty-pat, amateur sht Lara did can't compare to the professional punches thrown from Canelo.

Triple G should never fight Lara..Lara will run and throw like 10 punches per round, and have nerds like you saying it was a debatable fight and Lara gave him a boxing lesson..

The way boxing is set up right now..it's going to remain marginal forever.. Lara should have had to knock down or hurt Canelo to win a round.. he played well I hit you with 7 pitty pat shots you hit me with 5 prof. shots..so I win because i landed two more shots..gtfoh...

GGG vs. Canelo-Cotto Winner, Lara (be interesting difference in fighting styles. , Mayweather jr(retired), Pacquaio (too small , even at 154), Eubank jr. Lee-Saunders winner, Quillin-Jacobs winner. Possibly Ward at 168, Froch (retired), JC cChavez jr. (168). He could have plenty of fights for the next 3 years or so. Of course only about a half of these will actually happen.
