TOKYO — Japanese boxing’s bete noir Koki Kameda has stood firm on his decision to quit the sport after losing to countryman Kohei Kono in their WBA super flyweight title match in Chicago on Friday.
Kameda announced his retirement following the loss, but many felt he may just been emotional. But now he sat down with the Japanese press and says his decision to leave boxing won't change.
