Comments Thread For: Photos: Roman Gonzalez Breaks Down, Stops Viloria

New York City, N.Y. - He did it again. Roman Gonzalez dissected another opponent, eventually stopping a game and talented Brian Viloria in the ninth round at Madison Square Garden.

Viloria was supposed to give Gonzalez a serious challenge, but it was all Gonzalez after the second round.

As the bout progressed, Gonzalez landed more at will on Viloria, who was game but was not able to get anything on track offensively. [Click Here To Read More]

Broke him down indeed. Viloria was very game landed some great shots tonight as well.

But Chocolatito has a great chin and takes it to the body well.

He really is. The guy took a lot of punishment and was still firing back in that last round.

Viloria was very game. Tough, and did some nice body work.

Excellent showing from Gonzalez though, really enjoyed watching him throwing those combinations. So fun to watch.

Gonzalez shut down and broke down a top level fighter last night, very impressive!

Side-note, K2 is now an official co-promoter of Gonzalez! More Golovkin/Gonzalez cards to come! But eventually I think Roman starts getting his own main events.

K2 needs to get Usyk on a GGG under now if Roman starts to headline, CW can be as exciting as any division when matched right good combination of size-power-workrate

Yes! I agree, they need to start putting Usyk on GGG undercards. They could start hyping up the Cruiserweight, which is a good division no matter what any of the haters say.
