Comments Thread For: Luis Ortiz Crushes Matias Vidondo in Three Rounds

New York City, Madison Square Garden - In a battle for the vacant WBA interim-heavyweight title, Luis 'King Kong' Ortiz (23-0-2, 20KOs) crushed Matias Vidondo (20-2-1, 18KOs) in three rounds.

The WBA's "regular" champion Ruslan Chagaev and his mandatory challenger right now is Lucas Browne. The WBA's super champion at the weight is heavyweight king Wladimir Klitschko, who next month takes on Tyson Fury.

A couple vicious knockdowns easy work. This dude is ready. The top heavyweights need to stop ducking him. He is a problem with his power, amature background and southpaw style. I see why Jennings and Stervne backed out this fight.

Ortiz beat an overmatched opponent. Let's keep things in perspective

He fought an over matched opponent because 2 top heavyweights backed out the fight and other top guys refused to fight him. He can only beat the guys that agree to get in the ring with him

Lol that dude is delightful? He looks like his side job is boogey-man part time. Poor Argentinean dude tho he was way out of his league, if that is the best opponent they could find for him seems other heavyweights must think he does look like a guy not to fk with too.

I will pick him against Wilder! The guy is very athletic and has a solid amateur background. I will like to see if he can take a good punch, I know Wilder can't.

That reminds me of Wilder, except Ortiz was trying to get top heavyweights to fight him.

                    Wilder will never fight him.

Deontay only fights people he's 100% sure he can beat.
