I would be vulnerable and they could expose it and he would look good at the same time. That's just my opinion on the whole situation. We could've done it at a catch weight where we both would've been comfortable but they wanted it at 168. They wanted me to come to Oakland. And I know HBO has high hopes for Andre Ward. I know they have high hopes for him and they want to make him this big champion but that's water under the bridge for me."

Chad Dawson says that his loss to Andre Ward was a “set-up by HBO and other people,” claiming it was in the plans to make him vulnerable and expose him with weight loss.

what are you saying here that they set up dawson so mental ward would look good? that is what I was saying

If u can rehydrate 9 pounds and this is the morning weigh in, so untill the fight u can expect him to be a couple of pounds heavier than that, then ladies and gentlemen this is not what a sane person would call a "small" middleweight, he's a normal sized full fledged middleweight.

Flip side to the situation is that more people are growing more aware of the fact that boxing is a business, the same people who crtiticized proven HOFers of making decisions only based on business and called them cowards, are the same ones supporting GGG for doing the exact same thing.

Yeah before the fight they were saying everything would be good, they offered to go to 168. Then they flip flop after they lose.

              Even his trainer says so:

Chad Dawson doesn’t anticipate any issues Friday when he steps on the scale in Oakland, Calif., for his super middleweight title fight Saturday night against An

              Then after the fight:

John Scully was put in a tough spot in the months and weeks leading up to the clash between light heavyweight champ Chad Dawson and super middleweight champ Andre Ward.

You can't believe a word they say.

Haters trying to grasp for any straw.

Some guys are desperate and pathetic!

Ward didnt even send a damn counteroffer to the 164 => means he doesnt want it with GGG.

Same as in the HBO Meeting, GGG = READY to fight. Ward = UUH UUH Excuses!

That hoax offer when GGG already signed another fight and you guys still defend that liar?

You can enjoy a real fighter tonight and appreciate the sport of boxing.

Whatever happened to fighters moving up in weight and fighting bigger fighters and overcoming? Great fighters overcome size and weight disadvantages.
