IM actually for that fight..at whatever weight. Does GGG concede weight and size by going up to 168? Or does Ward give up a few lbs? We gotta understand that these guys are in separate weight classes andvthese particular wts, 8lbs is very significant...its actually the biggest jump in weight cut-offs. So, concessions may or may not have to be made bcuz of the separation of wt classes.

Myself i would rather GGG make the fight at 168 and come in at maybe 164-66. Ward would be a big task and helluva challenge for the G-Man...im for it tho man.

GGG haters all assume he is afraid of Ward, when in reality. It's business

Just like if GGG tried to fight Floyd's style it wouldn't serve him very well.

But oh how I miss the eras of the past. The 90's HW scene was one of my favorites. Everyone brought it and everyone was down to fight everyone for the most part.

Don't get me wrong, I love a good chess match, but I also love battles of attrition.

Really can't wait for this fight. Than Cotto-Canelo. Gon be good.
He is actually saying it's what the fans want. He has said many times Floyd is the best. That's the reason he'll come down to fight him.

Yep. Same basic reason Wlad is boring too. Although finally we're seeing refs taking him to task for it. Too bad Floydie bought off all the refs in his last dozen or so fights. We may have actually seen a fight. Oh wait... forgot the IVs. Never mind.
I think the refs, boxing, etc. we're in desperate need of a jolt, they let a lot of things slide.

Problem is it drove fans away.

I love slick stick and move fights.

But if you need to hold all night to win, you're in the wrong sport. MMA allows as much clinches as your heart desires.

He was asked. And Floyd talked about GGG.

      Said he can beat him.

      That he had no tricks.

Floyd can talk ****, but not GGG. Naw, he can say wtf he wants.

Something tells me you don't know the history of Floyd and GGG back and forth.

Actually, he has been asked repeatedly.

We don't know yet. But as of now no. But GGG does carry that torch.

I'm for the fight too. GGG takes his mug off.

However, I'm for it after GGG has handled his MW biz.

Fighting Ward before unifying MW all but ensures Canelo, Cotto, etc. duck the crap out of him.

Why the hell are some of you crying about Floyd being mentioned? That's what happens with great or known boxers. Other boxers mention them, just like he also mentioned Hagler, Hearns, Sugar Ray, and Tyson.

Get used to it you crying fools.

Mayweather's style is like playing Dark Souls and fighting a boss for the first time. You don't dare take a ****ing risk.

Floyd is like "Ip Man" and GGG is like "Rocky." It all depends on your taste in fighting styles!

I'll take whatever weight also but GGG had no problem wanting to move up.for other fighters. One minute its weight, next minute the fight does make.financial sense, then Ward has to fight to.be relevant again, then he wants to unify. He's all.over the place. If it was just one issue.I'd feel.confident the fight could get made but I don't think it's happening.

Meh...this is just HBO propaganda. The whole interview looks like one of Lampley's fight game scripts.

If Mayweather fights like a computer GGG interviews like a computer. Better yet he's like a furby doll. When you press his belly he says adorable quotes:

                    "This street fight"

                    "I respect box"

                    "Big drama show"

                    "You good boy"

                    "This original fight"

True! When you've already beaten Cotto, Canelo, and Pacquiao, plus GGG and Khan are still talking about you, and you're 39 years old, it means you're one of the great ones! It's just part of the game!
