I though Cuba's Embargo was lifted. Why aren't the Boxers coming

Why have we not seen Erislandy Savon, Robeisy Ramirez, Lazzaro Alvarez, Yasnier Toledo, Julio Cesar La Cruz, and Roniel Igleisias in the Pro Boxing. I thought the embargo was lifted

Savon would literally be the Number 2 Heavyweight in the world.

They could fight on the WSB. Not as real professionals.

      that is all for now.

Then how come Cuba's best baseball players are playing in the Pro's. Once the Embargo was supposedly lifted, Abreu, the most sought after player in the Cuban system signed with the White Sox.

The WSB is owned by the AIBA. They can't control where the boxers go.

          They shouldn't be able to.

I thought this whole thing hasn't been finalized either, but idk anything about that baseball guy so I'm curious about that situation now & what it could mean for Cuban boxers.

The same way you have boxers in the pros and Cuban's in the US and all over the world. They defect illegally or gain residency over time.

If the Embargo was lifted it would be MASSIVE world news, like you wouldn't be able to miss it. Has not happened, although it is looking like it might in the future. Things have loosened up since Raul Castro took complete control of Cuba.

1 the embargo is not lifted.
2 leaving Cuba has nothing to do with an embargo lol

So until the Embargo is fully opened, they ain't coming over is what I got from that. They are trying to wait till everything is fully resolved.
