It can't be that difficult to cope with considering he fought a horrible fight. Just get a new trainer, start there.

I think 2 things can be considered here.
1. Maybe moving up to 147 eases training camp, less focus on weight, more focus on sharpening skills.
2. Maybe you are right, he already got decked hard by DSG, Molina, and Postol. Moving up to fight bigger guys may be a mistake. Only thing he can do is try it out and see how it goes.Comment

Not suprised to hear Matthysse talk about retirement you take a loss like that at this point in his career, that thought is bound to creep up.
Don't think going up to 147 is smart but there's some decent names for him in fights I'd be stoked about.Comment

No one has the dimensions of Postol or fights like him at 147. If people think they can **** with Lucas and make him quit, they have another thing coming. Stylistically the fighters at 147 match up much better for Lucas.Comment

His call and he can still make some pretty good money especially if they get him a couple wins to get back on the horse again, so I can see why he would fight on.
That said I think it is highly unlikely he really does anything, I think he is a spent force and nothing is changing that.Comment
