I didn't score so I can't really say but there could have been a pretty wide range of acceptable score and honestly the hometown dude is going to get the breaks in a fight like that like 80% of the time.

Diaz did well so I can feel people thinking he won but he would have done a much more complete job to feel robbed.

even just by eyeball scoring, that wasn't a 117-111 fight

Corrupt judges are sadly a part of boxing but we got Williams and Diaz as plAyers in the game now so yeah thank you PBC.

It was a close fight but if I felt Peterson was winning the close rounds, I would have him up a decent amount. Boxing scoring is weird like that it doesn't always reflect if a fight was close or not.

I can feel that fight having a wide range of scores depending on if you like Diaz boxing or Peterson's more consistent hard shots specially to the body.

this is why our sport will never be mainstream...no sport that has judges will ever be fully accepted

What's going on with Prichard Colon they saying this kid is bleeding in back of the head? Any news on this rumor?

Sounds like a Joe Mesi type scenario

I completely agree. A fight can be ultra-competitive and have wide scores because it is scored round-by-round.

I thought Peterson won the fight, but if they'd given it to Diaz I wouldn't have thought it a terrible robbery. Close, excellent fight.

I feel you on that, it is the worst boxing conversation to ever have. Pretty much why I don't score fights anymore, not worth the effort just to get into arguments.

That's what I call a genuine thanks giver...

(Don't forget to thank for Aaron Martinez also.... and for Andre Berto. I forgot: did you express any thanks for Salka yet?)
