Lemiuex is by far his toughest opponent in the pros and that pretty much sums up his pro career. Imo he needs to fight ward its the best fight boxing has right now bar none. It would be such a huge fight I dont care what anyone says just look at any comment section on a ward ggg thread its filled no boxing fan would miss that fight.

My point is ggg is human hes not a god. He may go down as one of the best fighters ever but to me its no different then when people prop up any other over hyped fighter. GGG is the real deal dont get me wrong but cant we at least wait for him to prove it?

The problem is the best fight for ggg legacy by far is ward its not even close he beats ward hes number 1 p4p deserved or not and is a bonafid superstar. I just dont think he will do it which is a shame I get why he wont he can keep beating up guys at 160 class like lemieux and andy lee but god would i love to see 2 guys in their prime like ward and ggg fight it would be the real fight of our era not manny and pac
Cinci, if GGG finally moves up and fights your light heavyweight hero and KO's his hind-end will let it go and admit the guy is special? And if he loses to Ward I'll admit he is not as good as I thought he was.

i think lemieux has a very good chance to beat GGG. i'm a fan of ggg but i know lemieux and seen his career and hecan really punch and he has matured a lot sicne his losses. lemieux can definitely KO ggg.

Am I the only one who's mind went straight to Rocky 4 with that quote?

Best fight is Ward-Kovalev. Both of those guys are in the primes of their careers and roughly the same size.

In any case, my intrigue in this fight is to see how well GGG can take the power of a guy who arguably hits on the same level as he does.

I expect GGG to batter Lemieux who doesnt have the greatest chin

And i think GGG as a star would be good for boxing

But if Lemieux wins, i cant help but root for him. He is just a cool likable guy in every interview. Hopefull he drops GGG hard so his stock doesnt suffer

Lemieux definitely seems like a cool guy. But this will be a spectacular knockout for Golovkin. The most dramatic yet. Serious punishment.

better then ward ggg? no way dude you are out of your mind. its a good fight and its going to happen but no way is it better then ward ggg thats just ridiculous. it will happen tho ward has more balls then ggg i guess. roughly the same size tho? no way kovalev is alot bigger then ward then ward is to ggg even with his last fight at 172

I don't think a lot of people realize how good this fight is. This fight is Hagler-Hearns level.

Yeah that's almost as crazy and him taking the fight in the first place.
